Project GYANDAAN as the title suggests "providing with knowledge" . It is an initiative by MTD NGO to educate the poor and give them a better future. Education is the ultimate weapon and we all know it. What else could be the best gift given to the unprivileged society?

Talking about an unprivileged society, we need to know that India is the country with the second-largest school system in the world indeed, the participation rate in government schools is poor. The reason behind this is the continuous change of place by the children or families for their daily wages. The lesser- known importance of education is still a problem. To eradicate this poor thinking from society and give the nation a better youth MTD NGO's concept of "GYAANDAAN" is believed to benefit poor and needy children in any matter related to education and schooling. MTD NGO under Project GYAANDAAN has come up with establishing open schools, and libraries, Renovation of government schools, sports quota admission, efforts based scholarship quota admission, Re-Infrastructuring of government schools, and providing the needy children with stationary and required education material. Cities to be benefited by the project is Mumbai, kanpur and Lucknow. Let's have a look at all these priorities in brief.

Open School:

Open School is a concept related to giving education to children who have never got a chance to go to school. There remains a vast sector of unemployment in adults and hence parents force their children to start working at a tender age. These children than accept the lifestyle and continue living that for years and years. MTD NGO comes into the picture by finding out such children who are willing to study and providing them with access to open schools. Open schools at least provide the children with the basic education required for further development. Children are loving these open schools and are also benefitted at a better level. Some bright children who show their willingness towards acquiring an education or are willing to go into sports are then sponsored by scholarship quotas in schools.
Education and Sports quota sponsorships:

Through open Schools, MTD NGO frequently comes across a few bright students who are interested to study seriously or are good at sports and are then further given sponsorships or scholarships through supporters of the foundation. MTD NGO believes in encouraging children for a better life. Hence the team works very hard and selflessly behind the children to secure their future. Analysing the efforts MTD NGO is supported by a well-known company DECATHLON for sports quota scholarships for unprivileged children who wish to go ahead in sports.

Re-Infrastructuring or Renovation of government schools:

The lack of participation of students in government schools is reasonable. The common problem observed through the survey is due to poor infrastructure, no convenient facilities of the washroom, poor hygiene standards, poor toilet conditions for girls especially, shortage of water or sometimes no water facilities, electricity shortage or no electricity at all. Imagine such conditions, no child or teacher will be willing to go and study in such poor conditions. To give it a spark, MTD NGO helps in Re- Infrastructuring and renovating government schools and making them a comfort zone for students and teachers to do their work. Painting the schools, giving schools a new look. Providing basic facilities of water and food, and giving children a fun environment has observed a great increase in attendance and teachers doing their work productively.

Libraries set-up:

MTD NGO team wishes to set up a world of knowledge in each corner of the country. The team is always on a tour of gathering used and unused books from areas nearby. MTD NGO collects knowledge-giving books which will be helpful for all standards and the overall development of the children. The government schools are then sponsored libraries by MTD NGO for future use. They are easy to access by every kid who wishes to gain knowledge and empower their future.

Stationary and educational kits:

The foundation MTD NGO provides unprivileged children with educational kits containing stationery and books for their daily studies. This brings a ray of hope to the life of children.
